In June 2012, she was awarded the “Woman Lawyer of the Year” from her peers by the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association (JWLA). Ms. Parra Harris is active in many professional and civic organizations in Jacksonville, including the Florida Family Law Inns of Court, the NE Region Council of Leadership Florida, Jacksonville Bar Association’s Naturalization Committee, and the board of directors for the Sulzbacher Center.
