Headquarted in Japan, Pascal has been helping manufacturers all over the globe with automation solutions to reduce downtime and increase safety since 1989! Pascal Engineering Inc is the US branch dedicated to serving North and South America. Our warehouse located in Arlington Heights Illinois carries some stock of our smaller items such as workholding and gas springs. For metal stampers: Pascal offers Quick Die Change (QDC) systems designed to reduce the time it takes to complete a die change. QDC can help to prevent accidents caused by mis-clamping as it has an interlock system that will not allow a die change to proceed until all clamps are properly secured. It can inform the operator exactly which clamps need to be adjusted. The system includes hydraulic die clamps, clamp holders, control units, die lifters, and pre-rollers. A common die plate is needed in order to implement the fully automated systems. We offer installations and can also retrofit existing presses with QDC. For injection molders: Pascal automatic quick mold change system (QMC) ensures more time for production because molds can be loaded onto the changer in preparation for the next changeover while the IMM is currently in operation, stopping only for a quick switch. In addition to QMC, injection molders can gain more time savings with magnetic clamping, magnetic ejector rods, octagonal locate ring, automatic couplers, and automatic die setting/leveling. For cnc machinists and fixture builders: Our wide array of hydraulic and pneumatic workholding clamps is ideal for high-production applications, metal cutting, welding, milling machines and material handling. The clamp lineup includes swing clamps, link clamps, work supports, couplers, rotary joints, and zero point clamping. Many of these clamps include sensors to perform seat checks. We also have a rotary indexer ideal for robodrills as well as end of arm tooling. There is also an automated rotator for molds, coils, and large components.
