The Story of Patrick James, Purveyor to Gentlemen began in 1962 in the city of Fresno, California. Patrick James began primarily as a private label store. Mon Pere used his own fashion savvy, as well as meticulous attention to quality and detail, which quickly established Patrick James as a "West Coast Classic" style. While the flavor and fashion of the merchandise may have changed in part, the hallmarks of quality and exemplary service are as present today as they were on that first day in 1962.
