Patterson Library is a public library serving Westfield in Western New York, founded in 1908. The building exemplifies Greek revival architecture, with a rotunda supported by eight Corinthian columns crowned with gold capitals, and it has belonged to the Cattaraugus Library System since 1960.

Its collections encompass natural history items such as sea shells, fossils, and rocks, along with extensive local history and genealogy materials, period photographs, diaries, and works of regional art including 19th‑century paintings that have been restored or donated. The Octagon Art Gallery, opened in 1972, presents about a dozen exhibits annually and also hosts adult art classes and lectures, while the main reading room functions as a recital space for soloists and small ensembles. The reference area houses audio-visual resources, public computers, and a large basement-level children’s library with year‑round programming, relying on a strong volunteer base to support daily operations. As of 2015, the library's holdings included 15,001 fiction titles, 19,980 non-fiction titles, 17,249 children's books, 6,756 electronic books, 4 local data bases, 11 NOVEL databases, 2,546 audio books, 3,262 videos, and 21,674 uses of public internet computers.
