Ford founded his own firm in 1965 to seamlessly deliver creative solutions while continually striving to provide exceptional service. Mr. Ford’s forward-thinking had an immediate impact on shaping the Columbus skyline with structural engineering for several landmark buildings. 

At the heart of Mr. Ford’s concept for building design was the notion of creativity meets constructability. Based on this philosophy, our team has completed services for a variety of building types including commercial, office, municipal, healthcare, industrial, mixed-use, multi-family housing, hospitality, entertainment, aviation and retail.

Growth in the communications industry also began to shape the vision that Mr. Ford had for the firm. As this industry reacted to its changing needs and growth, the inventive minds at PJF designed new “guyed” and self-supporting towers to meet these challenges. Fast forward to today and PJF is a nationally recognized leader and innovator in the telecommunications and electrical power infrastructure markets.
