The Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre operates as a national Tier 1 facility in Kensington, Western Australia, delivering high-performance computing, large-scale data storage, and visualization to accelerate research. It provides services and expertise to researchers, educators, and industrial partners across disciplines such as nanotechnology, radio astronomy, high energy physics, medical research, mining and petroleum, architecture and construction, multimedia, and urban planning. The centre exists as an unincorporated joint venture among CSIRO, Curtin University, Murdoch University, and The University of Western Australia, with Edith Cowan University as a funding-associated member, and it is supported by the Western Australian and Australian governments.
