PayCourt (FKA Credit Collection Partners (CCP)) is an 80-year-old Taylorville, Ill.-based government collection agency that contracts with ~80 Illinois county state’s attorneys to recoup fines owed by defendants found liable in the county courts. PayCourt ensures the counties collect fines rightfully owed that help to fund critical court and county-sponsored programs, such as probation services, court security, and other critical social services for county residents.  

PayCourt has recovered over tens of millions of dollars for critically underfunded court-and county-sponsored services, as well as fines and fees that fund restitution directly owed to crime victims, including those affected by violent crimes and drunk drivers. Many collected overdue fines fund:
o	The Violent Crime Victims Assistance Fund for the Illinois Attorney General to assist crime victims.
o	Illinois hospital trauma centers to provide care for critically injured people.
o	Illinois State Police for Trooper training programs and ISP’s crime laboratories that perform forensic tests to help solve violent crimes throughout the state.
o	Court-Appointed Special Advocates to support children who have suffered from abuse and neglect.
