The Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics is a university-based ethics resource affiliated with Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Established over two decades ago and rooted in Catholic and Jesuit tradition, it focuses on the interface between theory and practice in clinical medicine, drawing on theology, philosophy, basic science, and clinical expertise. It complements other Georgetown ethics-related bodies such as the Kennedy Institute of Ethics, the Philosophy Department, and the Law Center, and aims to foster ethical reflection and discourse to support a just society and healthcare that respects the dignity and social nature of persons. 

Faculty from the Medical School, Nursing School, and Graduate School lead teaching, research, and patient-care activities through the center. The PCCB is responsible for bioethics education at Georgetown Medical School and in residency programs at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, as well as local graduate medical programs, and runs the hospital's ethics consultation service. The center also hosts a visiting scholars program and engages in external consulting, public speaking, and panel participation for various organizations.
