Pembroke provides preschool, prekindergarten, kindergarten and first grade in a private independent school setting. Pembroke also has a great, flexible summer camp schedule and after school activities and after school programs including the Digital Discovery Center. The goal of Pembroke is to have a positive lifelong impact on your children. 

Preschool, day school, after school and summer too. Pembroke is devoted to educating children from the early years of preschool through grade 6. We believe it is a critical time for your children’s social, emotional, creative and cognitive development. We have designed our classrooms and our programs and our preschool activities to be safe, supportive environments of discovery and learning. 

All who teach and guide the programs at Pembroke are college educated teachers with years of experience and a passion for working with young children. 

Pembroke Child Development Center is co-founded by Andrea and Steve Caris in Avon Lake, Ohio.
