Pendleton Round-Up is a long-standing spectator sports event centered on rodeo and western heritage, based in Pendleton, Oregon. Its origins date back to 1910, and it has grown into a week-long celebration that includes parades, concerts, a night pageant, and additional activities that attract tens of thousands of attendees. The event emphasizes Native American participation and relies on strong volunteerism and community involvement to sustain its programs. Within the professional rodeo circuit, the Pendleton Round-Up has received multiple Large Outdoor Rodeo of the Year honors from the PRCA, including recognitions in 2018, 2019, and 2021. In 2018 the organization expanded its assets by purchasing property intended to support an arena and classrooms for Blue Mountain Community College's rodeo program. As a small to mid-sized operation within the spectator sports sector, it remains a prominent regional rodeo with a notable community footprint.
