Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) is a regional environmental services organization based in Palo Alto, California. Founded in 1977, its mission is to protect open space on the Peninsula and in the South Bay for the benefit of communities and ecosystems. POST aims to create a network of protected lands where people and nature connect and thrive, preserving the balance between rural and urban landscapes for present and future generations. Since its inception, POST has conserved more than 87,000 acres of permanent open space, farms, and parkland across San Mateo, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties. Those lands have been incorporated into the National Park system, National Wildlife Refuge system, California State Parks, county and city parks, regional preserves, and private farmland. In October 2024, POST appointed Ben Huang as Chief Marketing Officer.
