People Serving People is a nonprofit organization based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, that assists children and families experiencing homelessness by helping them manage crisis moments and build a foundation for lasting success. It is the largest and most comprehensive shelter program in Minnesota focused on families. Its work centers on providing stability and support to children so they can develop their full potential. Its broader aim is a community where all children have the stability and resources needed to thrive. Operating as a mid-sized nonprofit, the organization serves the Minneapolis area and partners with local groups to address housing insecurity and immediate needs. Recent collaboration with Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church to build a reserve of high-quality school supplies for students illustrates its engagement with community partners.
