People’s Power & Light is a non-profit organization advocating and acting in the marketplace on behalf of consumers and the environment. Since 2002, we have been making energy more affordable and environmentally sustainable. Our programs include: • Discount Heating Oil Service, • New England Wind and New England GreenStart, providing green electricity from local renewable sources and helping to bring new renewable energy sources online in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. • Our Energy Efficiency outreach program works with local utilities to help members and the general public save energy and money. • The Emergency Oil Bank is a charitable program which provides heating assistance to those most in need, so no one has to choose between heating and eating
