Founded in 2015 by Mike Shepherd, Peritia, LLC is an Orange County based company specializing in Management & Leadership Development, Technical Consulting Training & Equipment Sourcing.

Founding his first company, Microtek Laboratories, in 1986, he served as President and CEO for 30-years. Under his leadership, Microtek Laboratories grew to an internationally recognized, fully accredited ISO/IEC A2LA 17025 test laboratory serving clients in the electronic materials and technology fields with facilities in Anaheim, CA and Baltimore, MD. In 2002, he expanded and co-founded Microtek (China) Laboratories in Changzhou, China, a joint venture with a former China government test facility.  In 2015, he negotiated Microtek Laboratories’ successful acquisition of its U.S. based facilities by National Technical Systems (NTS) where he was retained as a Senior-Level Advisor to NTS to ensure a streamlined and effective transition for Microtek’s customers and employees.

With his passion for Business and Management Development, in 2015 Mike founded Peritia, LLC and Partnered with CRESTCOM International as their Licensed provider of Management & Leadership Development Training known worldwide as the Bullet-Proof® Manager in Orange County, CA.  Peritia works directly with CEO’s, COO’s and Business Owners to align their corporate vision through the development of key middle and upper management personnel.  

Peritia Provides Technical Consulting & Sourcing to electronics manufacturers worldwide, Peritia has  a record of improving sales and operations in manufacturing and distribution organizations. Extensive experience in leading, restructuring and growing technology-based companies to provide value for customers and shareholders. Personal ability to impact sales, finance, operations, engineering and quality. Industry experience includes Medical, Semiconductor, Industrial Products, Construction, Automotive, Aerospace, Petrochemical and adjacent industries.
