PERse (Power.Energy.Risk; securing the environment) is a Managing General Underwriter specializing in property and casualty insurance products for energy and power production facilities with a primary focus on Renewable Energy.

PERse employs over 100 years of collective insurance experience, predominantly focused in the renewable space. The PERse team has written insurance coverage for over 32,000 megawatts of installed renewable energy capacity globally, and rising. Our book includes the top developers and owners of wind farms, solar projects, geothermal plants, biofuel refineries, and hydroelectric projects in the world.

PERse insurance can be accessed through retail and wholesale brokers in the renewable space as well as those with traditional energy or property/casualty backgrounds. We work directly with our brokers alongside the project developers and owners to meet the challenges of the complex exposures faced by relatively new and rapidly-evolving technologies. PERse underwriters are experienced in working with project developers, owners, equipment manufacturers, lenders, and their insurance advisors to ensure that the final insurance program for each project is in compliance with the contracts and fully meets the needs of the project participants.
