PPLLC is a privately held company with 34 years of polymer processing expertise and a customer base spanning start-up to Fortune 100. PPLLC is headquartered in Northeast Ohio, maintaining ISO 9001 registration. 

PPLLC's USA site encompasses more than 140 acres with a facility in excess of 440,000 SF.  PPLLC offers a full range of thermoplastic solutions, including custom compounding, viscosity enhancement (vacuum solid stating), recycled pelletizing & melt filtration, grinding & elutriation, crystallization, drying, blending, and de-dusting. 

PPLLC is able to meet the most demanding compounding requirements with twin screw technology, which includes 92mm, 50mm, and 40mm lines. Our compounding lines are equipped with multiple feeders, multiple injection ports, venting/vacuum, and continuous screen changers for ultra-fine melt filtration (200/400 mesh). In addition, PPLLC operates single screw extruders for pelletization and melt filtration. We maintain and operate a vast array of processing, handling, test, and compounding equipment, including the largest collection of commercial solid stating units in North America. PPLLC can accommodate 38 rail cars (9 active), and maintains in excess of 2.5 million pounds of silo capacity. We handle all packaging types. We also operate a 16mm lab twin screw for small scale product development and formulation evaluations.

PPLLC compounds both filled and unfilled thermoplastic compounds and concentrates (mineral, glass, color, FR, fiber, cellulose, modified, etc.). We process most thermoplastics, excluding PVC. We typically process in excess of 75M pounds annually.

In addition to PPLLC’s large scale commercial services, we operate a 56 Liter melt polymerization unit capable of producing 60-80 lb. lots of specialized polyester. Many of the commercial polyester resins on the market today were developed with PPLLC’s support.
