The Peter Pilotto brand was a London-based fashion label in the retail apparel and fashion industry, founded in 2006 by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos. They guided the label as creative directors until its closure in 2020, a decision linked to the pandemic and other UK market pressures. The label produced four annual collections, with prototypes developed in an in-house studio and production coordinated across Europe. Textiles were designed in London and developed in partnership with manufacturers across Europe and Asia. The brand previously reached customers across more than 50 countries through about 150 stockists, including Net-a-Porter, Dover Street Market, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Selfridges. The founders pursued collaborations and earned industry recognition, including NewGen sponsorship, the Swarovski Emerging Talent award (2010), the Fashion Forward prize (2011), BoF 500 membership since 2013, and the BFC/Vogue Fashion Fund (2014). The company is based in the United Kingdom and operated with a relatively small team.
