Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity is a national nonprofit organization founded in 1906 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. It seeks to develop men of distinction by fostering brotherhood, learning, ethical leadership, and exemplary character. The organization operates across the United States with 85 active chapters and more than 4,000 undergraduates. Over its 119-year history, it has initiated more than 105,000 members. Based in Oxford, Ohio, the fraternity's workforce is described as comprising several hundred employees. In June 2022, Phi Kappa Tau announced a partnership with Publishing Concepts, Inc. to undertake an Oral History Project.
