It features an 18-hole golf course set on a landscaped property with a historic, classic architectural backdrop. In addition to the course, members have access to a year-round calendar of social events and dining options, including the 1906 Grille and Pub, as well as a stone patio for al fresco dining. Adjacent to the clubhouse is an Olympic-sized swimming pool with updated lounge chairs and a full-service grille, complemented by extensive tennis offerings that include 10 Har-Tru outdoor courts and 3 indoor courts. In August 2023, Philmont Country Club was recognized as one of the best golf courses in the Philadelphia region; the North Course, designed by William Flynn, has hosted multiple events in 2000, 2009 and 2010 and is regarded among the region's top venues.
