Established in 2003 in NYC, with thousands of happy students and a solid presence in NYC, PhotoManhattan Photography School provides excellent photography instruction to all levels, from hobbyist to semi professionals all year round. Our facility offers fully equipped photo studio rentals and plenty of photographic equipment made available to students during classes. PhotoManhattan's instructors are working professionals, yet they are also trained instructors with years of practice leading a class room and great expertise in making difficult photography concepts seem easy and fun. 

For beginners, instruction focus on providing students with a solid ground on the fundamentals of photography while accommodating to students' various interests, whether it's shooting with a DSLR, a point and shoot, in manual or in automatic mode, we've master our beginner programs to suit all. To those more advanced, we have challenging photography courses such as Studio Lighting and Portraiture that will make even experienced amateurs stop and think about exactly what they are trying to do when they hit the shutter.. 

In addition, we host group events, exhibitions and lead group workshops in Union Square and in different neighborhoods of New York City. A wide range of people have taken classes here, and participated in group events, from professionals, to those seeking to become professionals, to those who are looking for a means of moving beyond the 8-6 routine that otherwise traps so many of us.
