PhotoPharmics is a clinical-stage neurotechnology company researching how light-based biological signals may influence daily rhythms, non-motor symptoms, and overall lived experience in Parkinson’s disease. Our work builds on decades of scientific exploration into retinal pathways, light perception, and circadian system biology. Prior innovations in light-based technology for mood and sleep disorders contributed to commercially successful solutions now used worldwide. Today, we focus on the emerging field of photo-neuromodulation—studying how specific wavelengths, timing, and patterns of light may interact with biological timing systems. Our investigational device, Celeste™, is being evaluated in a home-based, decentralized clinical trial designed to deepen understanding of these mechanisms. Our mission • Expand scientific knowledge of non-motor symptoms in Parkinson’s • Explore how biological timing and light-based signals intersect • Advance responsible, rigorous investigational research • Engage patients and caregivers to better understand lived patterns of PD Celeste™ is an investigational device and is not approved, cleared, or available for commercial sale.
