Piaggio Group Americas, Inc. (PGA) serves as the U.S. distributor for the Piaggio Group’s brands, selecting models from Piaggio S.p.A.'s portfolio to meet demand in the United States, Canada, and parts of Latin America. Under the Piaggio, Vespa, Aprilia, and Moto Guzzi brands, PGA distributes scooters and motorcycles ranging from 50cc to 1400cc, along with spare parts and accessories imported from Piaggio S.p.A. Established in 1998 as Piaggio USA Inc., the company is headquartered in New York City. Following Piaggio Group’s acquisition of Aprilia, PGA merged with Aprilia World Services USA, Inc. in 2006 and began distributing Aprilia and Moto Guzzi motorcycles. In 2009, PGA expanded its reach by purchasing distribution rights for Canada and the South and Central America regions, and today the operation is based in New York with a relatively small staff.
