PIKA International, Inc. (PIKA) was founded as a small disadvantaged business in 2003 and headquartered in Houston, Texas. PIKA is a multi-disciplinary environmental and remediation services firm that provides solutions to the often diverse and complex needs of our clients at sites located throughout the United States as well as internationally. Since inception, our main purpose has been to satisfy our clients’ challenges through experience and innovation. We are a leader in environmental remediation, munitions and explosives of concern (MEC), hazardous and toxic waste handling, and radiological services, with niche capabilities in providing solutions for Military Munitions Response Programs (MMRPs) and various environmental and radiological projects and programs worldwide. Our performance is proven, with over $230M in successfully completed projects, most of which is through repeat business and relationships. We have the demonstrated capability, experience, and resources to perform complex projects at sites located throughout the United States and internationally. Designated a Small Business, we maintain a professional staff of over 100, including more than 50 full-time staff who are trained and certified in MEC/Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) and radiological services (Health Physics and Waste Brokering). We also possess a U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) broad scope radioactive materials license and a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) license enabling us to store, handle, and transport a wide range of dangerous materials. We provide innovative solutions in the areas of munitions response, range sustainment, radiological contamination, environmental remediation, and demilitarization. Most recently, we added specialized oil field services, including economic oil recovery and remediation of oil contaminated soils and sludge to our portfolio, and we have performed these services safely and effectively in Kuwait.
