Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona, is a major aviation museum with a collection comprising more than 350 aircraft and spacecraft from around the world, along with more than 125,000 artifacts. Its exhibits cover military, commercial, and civil aviation and include iconic aircraft such as the SR-71 Blackbird, a B-29 Superfortress, and a World War II German V-1, plus a recent 787 Dreamliner. Exclusive tours of AMARG, the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group at nearby Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, are available by advance reservation. Recent developments include the January 2024 restoration and display of the Lockheed R5O-5 Lodestar in the outdoor collection.
