Pinelands Preservation Alliance is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization committed to the ongoing protection of the New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve.

We promote wide public engagement in their preservation and advance the acquisition of land and development rights by private and public conservation agencies.

In addition to this work, the Alliance has multiple initiatives: Pinelands Adventures, an outdoor recreation program aimed at fostering public understanding of and devotion to the Pinelands; Rancocas Creek Farm a sustainable, chemical-free farm connected to our mission to protect the Pinelands; AccessNature, a movement to increase open space opportunities throughout New Jersey for people of all abilities; and the Landscape Makeover Program, green infrastructure designed to transform lawn and archaic stormwater systems into native habitat that also improves surface and groundwater quality.

We are dedicated to furthering justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in our staff and our work. Everyone should have access to recreation, clean air and water, and the scenic beauty the Pinelands provides.
