We are Pinnacle Five, LLC — a veteran-owned small business formed in 2007 by linking five top senior enlisted leaders and their respective companies, and most importantly, their commitment to Veterans. Our primary objective is to help educate businesses and the American public on the significant value veterans bring to the workplace. We bring a unique and unmatched perspective of the skills and abilities veterans bring back to their communities after serving in America’s military. Collectively, and through our individual companies, we also offer a wide range of services by leveraging the contacts, skills and experiences gleaned through years of military service. Our primary team members include the 12th Sergeant Major of the Army, 14th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, 9th Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy, 13th Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force, and 8th Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard. We have over 160 years of progressive military leadership experience ranging from tactical (small group) to strategic (military service-wide). Each of us is an accomplished senior executive with diversified program management skills. Our relationship began in the late 1990s when we all served together at the Pentagon in Washington DC. As the senior ranking enlisted members from each of the military services, we represented our respective service to both the American public and those working in all levels of the federal government. We performed as key decision makers as well as advisors to senior Department of Defense leaders on programs and policies impacting all aspects of human resource management. We also testified on Capitol Hill and regularly met with Congressional leaders to discuss the needs of military members and their families. Since our retirement from military service, we have continued to work with numerous industry leaders in consulting/advisory roles, and most of us currently own our own companies and/or foundations.
