Pioneer Bible Translators is a mid-sized nonprofit in the religious institutions sector focused on making Scripture accessible to Bibleless communities through translation and related work. Its staff includes Bible translators, literacy evangelists, church planters, and a range of support personnel who collaborate to transform lives through God’s Word in every language. The organization serves about 43 million people across 92 language projects in 18 countries and coordinates its global efforts from an International Service Center in Dallas, where missionaries are trained and prepared for cross-cultural ministry. Its primary beneficiaries are Bibleless language communities and churches seeking translation, literacy support, and on-the-ground ministry across cultures, with mission teams drawn from the United States and Canada. Recent developments include Papua New Guinea-based Sign Language translation work for the Action Bible, illustrating ongoing partnerships and translation initiatives.
