Piscataway Public Library is a statewide leader in public library service, and was recently voted one of the 2016 “Best of the Best” libraries in Middlesex County. With a documented history of providing pioneering programs and services, Piscataway Public Library is an organization that nurtures leadership and innovation. 

Piscataway Township is located in Middlesex County, across the river from the Rutgers University New Brunswick campus, and near the center of Einstein’s Alley - central New Jersey’s research and technology corridor. Boasting a richly diverse population of over 58,000, Piscataway is the home of several large corporate residents, including Johnson & Johnson, Colgate-Palmolive, and IEEE. Piscataway was recently ranked among the top ten most diverse towns in New Jersey, with significant non-white populations including African-American (20%), Asian (36%), and Hispanic (12%).
