PITA (Palestinian IT Association of Companies) is representing more than 100 major Information & Communication Technology (ICT) companies in Palestine’s emerging technology and start-up ecosystem. As a representative of the sector, we aim to build, develop, and nurture a progressive ICT infrastructure in Palestine. PITA is highly devoted to the ICT innovation in terms of fundraising, advocacy, and global outreach. The association was founded by a group of IT entrepreneurs in 1999 at the city of Ramallah. The vision these entrepreneurs have embraced for so many years is creating a non-profit organisation that fulfills the needs of the sector and advance the interests of its companies. PITA is gladly standing on its main pillars of sector branding, capacity building of the association, human capital productivity enhancement, enterprise and start-up development, and Palestinian Diaspora engagement. A new generation of Palestinian forward thinking entrepreneurs is being created to enforce profound change to the technology landscape and relish the opportunity of meeting ICT global standards.
