Play-Well TEKnologies runs hands-on, project-based engineering programs for children ages 5 to 14, using LEGO bricks to illustrate core concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture. Its curriculum, designed by engineers, builds on students’ math and science skills from the school year and emphasizes problem solving, collaboration, and self-confidence. In each class, students engage with more than 20,000 LEGO pieces to tackle real-world engineering challenges and explore how things work. Based in San Anselmo, California, the organization serves a nationwide footprint, teaching about 100,000 kids annually across 23 states. Since 1997, the company has grown into a nationwide provider of LEGO-based engineering education, serving hundreds of thousands of students. In 2024, it expanded its collaborations by partnering with Spring Hill School to offer an after-school LEGO engineering enrichment class.
