Plumas Rural Services (PRS) is a nonprofit agency that provides northeastern California with a wide variety of community and social services. PRS operates in the frontier rural communities where the Sierra Nevada and Cascade mountain ranges meet, serving Plumas, Sierra, Lassen and Modoc Counties. The agency offers assistance, resources, advocacy, and support to its communities in the realms of child care, family violence, disability services, mental health, public transportation, youth development, community training, and more.
