We formed the Plymouth Opportunity REIT to provide a real estate investment platform for Investment Advisors and related fiduciaries. We wanted an investment platform that sources its own capital and invests prudently in opportunistic real estate. We wanted a REIT structure that offers transparency and minimizes upfront fees. We wanted a REIT whose employees have a vested interest in its success. Above all, we wanted a REIT that aligns our interests with those of our investors.

Our REIT investment strategy is not solely dividend-driven. We believe in total return. We believe in paying dividends from revenue generated from properties, not from capital raised or from borrowings. We believe that real estate investing requires time, hard work and discipline.

We also believe in the notion of stewardship. And we take that notion seriously. We are stewards of our investors'​ capital and stewards of the people who make up our great company. We have built a firm where all of our people have a vested interest in the firm, in our investors, and in each other. We are each others'​ partners. Real estate is about more than concrete and steel, it's about people. It always is.
