Point Park University is a private urban higher-education institution founded in 1933 and located in Downtown Pittsburgh. It offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate programs across the School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business, the School of Communication, and the Conservatory of Performing Arts, enrolling about four thousand students in total. The campus footprint is described as the second largest in downtown, organized around an Academic Village that serves as a multiblock living-and-learning hub where local businesses and organizations interact with the university. The institution maintains a liberal arts orientation within an urban setting. As a regional higher-education presence in Pittsburgh, Point Park collaborates with local partners to provide a range of academic and experiential opportunities for students. In February 2026, the university introduced an AI chatbot to field admissions questions.
