Polar King International, Inc. operates in the Retail Office Equipment industry as a manufacturer of outdoor fiberglass walk-in refrigeration units, including freezers and coolers. Its fiberglass, single-piece units are designed to withstand outdoor use and arrive pre-wired and pre-assembled, eliminating on-site assembly for most installations. The company serves a broad customer base, ranging from thousands of independent operators to chain restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, and government agencies that need reliable outdoor cold storage. Based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Polar King traces its origins to 1982 in New Haven, Indiana, and it now operates from a 100,000-square-foot facility in Fort Wayne. The organization emphasizes an evolution from traditional metal-panel walk-ins to fiberglass, one-piece designs tailored for outdoor environments. In March 2026, Polar King launched an online Build Your Own configurator to allow customers to tailor a cold-storage unit to their specific requirements.
