POLYECO S.A. was founded in 2001 and comprises the only fully licensed waste treatment industry in Greece. Since then the company has grown and expanded steadily around the world, with operations in Albania, Kosovo, FYROM, Serbia, Cyprus, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Ethiopia, Mauritius and other countries. POLYECO S.A. is a family owned company, founded by Mr. Ioannis Polychronopoulos.

The company provides the following services:

1. Rehabilitation and decontamination services: rehabilitation of industrial sites, site remediation, asbestos removal, PCB decontamination
2. Integrated waste management services: collection, identification, marking, labelling, transportation, recycling / treatment or final disposal of waste, issuance of certificates
3. Production of alternative fuel and raw materials: recovery of waste and production of alternative solid / liquid fuel and raw materials for industrial use
4. Production of industrial additives: urea, ferrous sulphate
5. Treatment of liquid waste: physicochemical treatment, tank farm, electrocoagulation
6. Hazardous waste storage: transfer station
7. Fuel Tank Cleaning and oily sludge treatment: separation, dewatering, decanting, chemical and mechanical degassing
8. Studies and consulting services: land contamination assessment, waste management plans, environmental consulting services
9. Emergency Response: 24/7 emergency response service, independent inspection and reporting
