Polytech Industries is a plastics manufacturer based in St. Charles, Illinois. It was founded in 1982 by Richard and Timothy Walls and began in a small corner of a friend's Addison, Illinois factory, using equipment designed in the Walls' family garage. An early milestone came when the Iowa State Lottery ordered a shipment of cabinets for its new machines, which helped establish the business as a full-time venture for the founders.

As the company expanded, space in Addison proved insufficient, prompting a move to a West Chicago industrial office area and eventually the expansion to multiple suites that supported its growth. By 1990 Polytech started designing and machining its own tooling, a capability that set it apart from many peers at the time. Today, the firm operates as a small to mid-sized plastics manufacturer located at 1755 Wallace Avenue in St. Charles.
