Pop Warner is a national program for youth football, cheerleading, and dance that ties participation to academic eligibility. Its approach treats education and sport as complementary, with the aim of developing well-rounded young people both on the field and in their communities. The program serves about 325,000 participants aged 5 to 16, making it the largest program of its kind in the world. Based in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, Pop Warner operates within the spectator sports industry as the only national youth organization that requires scholastic aptitude for participation. Founded in 1929, it has continued to grow, pursuing broader participation, visibility, and community outreach. In January 2025, Steve Strawbridge Jr. was named president and chief executive officer.
