Poparide operates a city-to-city carpooling platform in Canada that aims to fill empty seats, making travel more social, affordable, and sustainable. The service connects people in the real world to ride together, enabling travel, exploration, and the formation of connections, while increasing vehicle occupancy to help reduce road congestion and emissions. It seeks partnerships with organizations that share a commitment to community-based sharing and environmental stewardship.

Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Poparide serves communities across Canada, including areas where public transportation is limited. The company has established collaborations with transit and mobility partners, such as TransLink Enterprise, Ebus, and Modo Co-op. In October 2023, it announced an improved driver verification system and accompanying reporting tools to enhance safety and accountability on the platform.
