PORCH Communities is a grassroots nonprofit combating hunger through a simple, neighborhood-based model: neighbors helping neighbors. Each month, more than 2,000 volunteers collect non-perishable food from front porches in their own communities, creating a reliable, locally tailored stream of donations for more than 250 pantries. Since our founding in 2010, PORCH has grown to over 60 chapters in 15 states, generating more than $15 million in hunger relief for pantries that reply on PORCH as a critical food source.
