Port of New Orleans (Port NOLA) is a government administration port located at 1350 Port of New Orleans Place, New Orleans, Louisiana 70130, employing between 201 and 500 people. It operates as a deep-draft port on the Mississippi River with Gulf of Mexico access and connections to more than 30 major hubs via 14,500 miles of waterways, six Class I railroads, and interstate highways, providing integrated logistics across river, rail, and road. Recent leadership changes include the appointment of a President and Chief Executive Officer in December 2024 and the appointment of a Chief Operating Officer in November 2025.
