The Port Townsend School of Woodworking is based at Fort Worden State Park.

The School offers a mixture of avocational and vocational programs varying from two day (weekend), one and two week classes to 12-week intensive programs. We offer the intensive programs in the Fall and Winter and shorter programming throughout the year with the greatest number of offerings in the Spring and Summer.

The School teaches a wide array of woodworking topics with a primary focus on the traditional craftsmanship of hand tool woodworking. The School offers introductory to advanced classes  in hand tool woodworking, furniture making. cabinetmaking, woodturning, carving, designing and building tiny houses and gypsy wagons.
