Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, Praetorian Rx started in 2011 as a fee-for-service based Medication Therapy Management company. During its early years, unlike other MTM organizations, Praetorian Rx refused to allow its services to strictly be affiliated with a single medical clinic (and still does not to this day). This decision allowed cash patients to access services separate from doctor visits. What’s more, this decision to be truly independent allowed the company to take its first steps towards becoming the guardian of health in more than one way. Realizing the potential of the company to become a major innovator of how healthcare conducted in the US, its founders steered the company toward much a broader horizon. With its roots firmly in the principles of MTM, Praetorian Rx now operates within a host of different areas of health care, including health technology, pharmacy management, and pharmacy consulting. The company’s focus, however, has remained the same:  To educate and empower.
