Pratham is one of the largest and most respected education NGO’s in India. It focuses on high-quality, low-cost, and replicable interventions to address gaps in the education system. These interventions are rigorously evaluated to refine them, including through a series of trials over 20 years led by Nobel Prize winning Economists Abhijit Banerjee and Esther Duflo. Working in collaboration with state governments, communities, parents, teachers, and volunteers Pratham’s programmes have supported the education of millions of children in India. Pratham’s models are now being adapted to contexts outside India too.
