OEM Services • Technical Reports (also known as Engineering Peer Reviews and third-party independent design verification): PSI offers Technical Reports of solvent based extraction and post extraction processing equipment in accordance with the International Fire Code and NFPA 1. Facility Services • Requirements Report: This comprehensive report analyzes the facility, equipment, and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable code; State and local rules; and best industry standard practice. • Process Hazard Analysis: The Process Hazard Analysis report evaluates the process equipment, ventilation design, processing procedures including waste disposal, and code analysis of proposed hazardous materials (solvent) storage and usage. • Dilution Analysis: A Dilution Analysis is performed for each hazardous process to estimate the volumetric airflow required to maintain flammable liquid vapors and gases to below safe levels in accordance with applicable building, fire and mechanical codes. This report is essential for determining the proper electrical classification of an area (CID1; CID2; non-classified). • Field Verification: An on-site inspection and review of peer reviewed equipment to ensure the extraction equipment is installed properly and configured in accordance with the Technical Report. • Technical Assistance Report: A Fire Protection Engineering (FPE) review and code compliance analysis of the overall facility and equipment.
