Pride of Baltimore, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that owns and manages the tallship Pride of Baltimore II. Its mission centers on historical maritime education, supporting economic development and tourism, and representing Maryland and the United States in ports worldwide. Pride II is a reconstruction of an early 19th-century Baltimore Clipper, a vessel associated with privateering during the War of 1812. Since its commissioning in 1988, Pride II has traveled more than 250,000 nautical miles and visited 40 countries across about 200 ports. The organization operates deck tours, sailing charters, day sails, youth programs, private events, and overnight guest crew experiences in multiple ports each season. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, Pride of Baltimore, Inc. has partnered with the National Park Service to expand interpretive programming along the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail and related Chesapeake Bay ports.
