Founded in 2010, Primer began from a simple idea: gun ranges and tactical gear lines can, and should, be marketed with the same techniques as other products. Founder Katie Perrine was dissuaded by the lack of long-term thinking and creative avenues used in the gun industry. After a 2 year stint leading the marketing strategy for Scottsdale Gun Club, the largest gun club in the nation, Perrine set out to change the way the gun industry thought about marketing. Primer specializes in creating long-term growth strategies and integrating multiple faceted campaigns. The marketing world is rapidly changing and always evolving which creates an ever widening gap between what used to work and what is successful in today's environment. Primer seeks to bridge the gap between the firearms industry and today's digital, social, and integrated marketing techniques.
