Primex is a family-owned, independent, all-seasons Garden Center. For 70 years we have been in Glenside serving our local community and the greater Philadelphia region. In our Nursery and Greenhouse you’ll find quality, locally sourced plants. Our Store has a wide selection of top-of-the-line gardening tools and supplies from your old standbys to current sustainable innovations. We carry an ever-expanding supply of organic gardening products (the largest in the region!); because we know what benefits the community benefits all of us. Primex has cultivated personal relationships with fellow horticultural organizations and community gardens and we continue to support their efforts through our donation programs and tool-lending library.

We’re not just another garden center and it shows in our staff. The folks who make up the Primex Family have a passion for horticulture, plain and simple. We’ve used the products and have grown the plants we stock in our own gardens.
