Prince William Sound Aquaculture Corporation (PWSAC) is a nonprofit organization established in 1974 by a local commercial fishermen's group to optimize Alaska's wild salmon resources. Based in Cordova, Alaska, the organization operates four remote hatcheries in Prince William Sound and another on the Copper River in Paxson. It produces hatchery-born, ocean-raised wild salmon for the commercial, sport, personal use, and subsistence fisheries in its service area.
