The Pritzker Military Museum & Library is a private nonprofit institution focused on collecting, preserving, and sharing the story of the Citizen Soldier. It functions as a museum and library that fosters learning among citizens and service members about military history and the Armed Forces' role in contemporary society. It operates from Kenosha, Wisconsin, in a 51,800-square-foot facility, of which 9,400 square feet are open to the public, following the relocation of its operations from Chicago in 2024. The collection includes books, films, and artifacts donated by private supporters and by its founder, Colonel J.N. Pritzker (retired). Since its opening in 2003, it has produced more than 400 public programs featuring authors and scholars, Medal of Honor recipients, and discussions on military issues. It is a private, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit with memberships starting at 25 per year.
