PRO Youth & Families is a Sacramento-based nonprofit organization serving the civic and social sector by engaging youth and connecting them with opportunities that foster hope. Since 1981, the group has delivered programs in schools and community settings, focusing on youth voice, wellness, and collective impact to help young people explore daily-life topics, build skills, and develop into community leaders. Its work targets young people and their communities, offering spaces where youth can discover their identities and address issues relevant to their lives. The organization operates within the United States, positioning itself as a collaborator in youth development and social services through a multi-faceted approach that emphasizes empowerment and community engagement. A recent development noted is a collaboration with Mentor Arabia in February 2026 to participate in a webinar on reducing drug-use-related offenses through health-centered approaches, organized with ISSUP and PRO Youth & Families.
